We’re delighted to be on the shortlist for a new lakeside library within south-east London’s Thamesmead estate. Our design team are looking forward to meeting this exciting challenge.
A new home for Marylebone library opened its doors to the public this week. Situated on the busy Cavendish Street near high-end retail units, the new library occupies a space almost 1/3rd the size of its previous location. Innovative and bespoke design solutions were required to a successful space that meets the needs of the local community.
Bisset Adams have been appointed by Ballymore to provide innovative design solutions for the new community centre within the proposed Royal Wharf development complex. The new space will provide a range of facilities aimed at local residents including library, business touchdown and flexible activity spaces.

As a way of encouraging creativity outside of the office, Bisset Adams has started a monthly internal photography competition called Bisstagram. Each month colleagues are prompted to submit photos, as long as they were taken that month with their smartphone. At the end of the month the top three and commended photographs are revealed and displayed in a slideshow in our reception.
