High Wycombe Library
Bisset Adams was commissioned to design and produce a new branding approach for High Wycombe library, laid out over three floors as part of a major new shopping complex in the town centre.
With the library having just a small entrance on the ground floor and with the main collections and study facilities on the first and second floors, the design challenge was to draw visitors up into the building. This was achieved by using lighting inside the main glazed facade, with the design aesthetic being cool and neutral, with a colour palette and brand identity based on the Chiltern beech woods surrounding the town.
